Larry wrote Love My Girl as a tribute to his wife. We wanted a chunky rhythm guitar sound to drive it. We also wanted it to have a rock flavor making it a rock love song. Larry sings the lead vocal. Rob and Joe sang harmony. Rob did great clean guitar rhythm sounds. Joe did the lead guitar and the chunky rhythm.
